How to Complete Final Check

TRANSCRIPT:

The final step of setting up a scholarship form is to make sure that everything is correct before setting the form live.

Begin by going to settings, go to "school details", and go into the scholarship workflow.

Make sure that all the settings here are correct. For example, instead of "expression of interest", the URL path should most likely be adjusted to "scholarship form".

A URL path is the link you search for. It needs to be unique and the text you just added is the ending of your URL path, which should match the form name.

Below, you have a few additional settings. Would you like to send the scholarship form to staff? Do you want to enable parents to start or continue the scholarship form, even though there is a manual submission date?

Or do you want to lock the entry grade if an application has been submitted priorly?

So for example, if a student has applied for year 7, 2025, will they be able to adjust that year level inside the scholarship or not?

Have a look at the available settings and enable as needed.

Once you've checked these settings, close the tab and click save.

Next, you would need to check the payment settings one more time to make sure that everything is set up correctly.

Make sure the GL code has been added. Adjust the default payment line item. Instead of "expression of interest" adjust the fee name to "scholarship application fee".

Save it, and you're done in this area.

Finally, double-check that you have approved the whole form. All of the questions are correct, all of the terms and conditions are updated, and the introductory text is added informing parents what to do next.

You can go back into EnrolHQ, go into settings, customization, and then go back into application and scholarship forms.

This time, enable the form again under "show scholarship link for parent".

So you would apply it for the parent dashboard, left-hand side menu, outstanding tasks, and also potentially if you need a redirect for the application form, you would do that as well.

Click save, and the form is up and running on your parent dashboard.

If you refresh the parent dashboard, you will have the link to a new scholarship form and parents will be able to submit.

Make sure that you also check your year of entry settings and that the scholarship form is set up and enabled for the correct years.

So if you want to enable specific "playgroup" year levels for this scholarship, you need to add or remove the relevant year groups from here.

You can also deactivate this form for certain year levels so it only applies for year 1 and above. If a person is in a year level that is not available, they can be redirected to submit an "enquiry" instead.

And finally, you can log in as a parent and hijack their dashboard view to double-check that the scholarship form is available for them and that they can apply for a scholarship form directly from the parent dashboard.
