How to Cancel an Interview

There are two ways to do this.

​From the parents side, they can log into their parent dashboard and view their interview details,

This is a separate block under the main view inside the parent dashboard.

They can click to view or cancel, and will be taken to a separate interview details page, where they will see a red cancel button.

This button will only appear if you enable the setting to allow cancellation from the backend in EnrolHQ.

To adjust this, go to interviews, and settings.

Here, you can decide whether parents are allowed to cancel, by clicking on "enable interview cancelling by parent".

You can also choose how many hours before the interview they are allowed to cancel.

For example, you might restrict cancellations to stop one day before to avoid last-minute cancellations without parents having to call the school

In this example, parents can now cancel their booking from their parent dashboard, up to 24 hours before their interview time.

The second way to cancel an interview is to go into the student profile from the backend,

Next, access the interview tab,

And cancel by clicking on the red "cancel" button.

You can cancel the appointment and also assign or unassign a potential interviewer.

If needed, you can remove the interview completely.
